Join me as the 2009 Honoree in my efforts to support Arthritis Foundation, Pacific Northwest Chapter!

I am pleased to announce that the Arthritis Foundation has named me as the 2009 Spokane Jingle Bell Run/Walk Honoree. As Honoree, I will work with the Arthritis Foundation as well as the Jingle Bell Run/Walk planning committee to increase arthritis awareness throughout the Spokane community and raise money for critical research.

Diagnosed in the early 1980's, arthritis has always been a part of my life, but it has never defined me! As a mother of two small children, I am more determined than ever to fight this painful disease and take control of it!!

This holiday season I will tie bells to my shoelaces as I participate in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk® for Arthritis, a 5K fun run/walk to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. And YOU can help, too!

I will also be running my first Half Marathon on Sunday, Nov. 29 in honor of my sister Kendra who battles a fight with MS!

Won’t you sponsor me in my effort to raise funds to fight one of the nation’s most common causes of disability – ARTHRITIS? Arthritis affects more than 46 million Americans, including 300,000 children, costing the U.S economy over $128 billion annually. The Arthritis Foundation needs our help.
