This holiday season I will tie bells to my shoelaces and dust off my reindeer antlers as I participate in the Jingle Bell Run/Walk® for Arthritis, a 5K fun run/walk to benefit the Arthritis Foundation. And YOU can help, too!

Won’t you sponsor me in my effort to raise funds to fight one of the nation’s most common causes of disability – ARTHRITIS? Arthritis affects more than 46 million Americans, including yours truly. The Arthritis Foundation needs our help.

When I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis last September I decided that I was going to do whatever I could to ensure that it did not interfere with my dreams or the active lifestyle I thrive on. To support my goals, I will be participating in the Jingle Bell run to support the Arthritis foundation. However, it is not just for myself that I run, I know several other people who have this same condition and who are not able to run due to the incapacitating pain of the disease. I'll be running for them as well as myself on 21 Nov, in hopes that one day we all might return to the painfree lifstyle we so fondly remember. So join us in the Ho-Ho-Holiday spirit and donate if you can. Then kick back with a cup of cocoa and imagine me out at the crack of dawn running in 7 degree weather with a bunch of other nuts that have antlers on their head and jingle bells tied to their pointy elf shoes! That image alone ought to be worth $2 or $3...
